News items are available from only one source, Voonda. The disadvantage to this ticker is that when you click on a story, it takes you to a page of story titles, not to the story you clicked on, and, the size of the pop-up page cannot be customized. Also it seems that pop-up blockers block the news stories and have to be overridden to see the story.
